SCOOP — Body camera footage obtained as a result of my lawsuit against the DC Metropolitan PD confirms DOGE and the Trump administration openly admitted they were entering private property when they raided the building on March 17, 2025. That didn't stop MPD from breaking down the doors.
My report:
Absolutely. The worst decision in US political history.
R leadership: <summons demon>
D leadership: <facilitates summoning demon, draws janky containment circle to save it for an election issue, persecutes anyone who tries to exorcise demon>
D leadership: "Nice democracy you have there. Vote for us or the demon will get out and eat it."
“So far, Google’s AI infrastructure buildout drove an 11 percent rise in the company's total emissions last year.”
This is a real video from the official White House account on a war that is currently killing people. I don’t know how the US is going to come back from this.
The post was “JUSTICE THE AMERICAN WAY. 🇺🇸 🔥”
On @pablo.show I talked about the limits of generative AI, and why the brainstorming process—which LLMs mostly eliminate, imo—is fundamental to doing *good* work.

He’s had a very long week
Iraq's first lady, Shanaz Ibrahim Ahmed, a political/humanitarian figure from a prominent (& very political) Sulimaniyah-rooted Kurdish family closely tied to the PUK, coming in hot with a free history lesson for people who think Iraqi Kurds might be unquestioningly game for more US bait-and-switch.
In the past two years, I attended numerous government and think tank meetings where it was fashionable to question and debate the casualty figures in Gaza as a way to distract from the human tragedy, Israel's brutal conduct of the war and Israel's ultimate aim (ethnic cleansing).
Half a million displaced in a country of approx. 5.9 million. The majority have been displaced multiple times. People are sleeping in the streets.
It is Ramadan. People can't check on family b/c they know Israel is weaponizing phones & internet.
This is layers of physical & psychological warfare.
A good letter from Senate Democrats demanding a federal investigation into the murder of a Philadelphia-born Palestinian American named Nasrallah Abu Siyam.
Interestingly, neither of the two senators from Pennsylvania itself signed on. Nor did either NY senator, one of whom is Minority Leader.
also pleased to inform you i made this for your studying or chilling or vibing or
OTD in 1944 the Red Air Force carpet bombed Narva, then Red Army used artillery to finish the job. As a deliberate act, hundreds of civilians died & thousands were made refugees. We then repopulated it with Russians.
Imagine something like this happening in the 21st century.
I find it really really hard to keep up with more than one social media site... I have a full time job, a family, and, you know, a life, so I don't post here much... but I'm going to try to share a bit more.

Today the Israelis ordered the evacuation of the southern suburbs of Beirut. This included a couple Palestinian refugee camps. People who were displaced during the Nakba or in 67, settled in Beirut and now their grand/great grandchildren are once again displaced.
A muddy strawberry cart in a row
"Mauricio" shares, "I work in the strawberries. During the month of February, this difficult work became even harder. The mud made everything slow down as we could barely push our carts. Plus hours were cut because of weather and I couldn't earn enough to pay bills." #WeFeedYou

There is a trend in my comment section forming from men giving me a thousand hypothetical scenarios about how Canada 🇨🇦 may *have* to join this war and I can tell you’re young because you don’t remember Iraq, and that we’ve been in this exact situation before. The answer is no.
This is what this war is really about. A way for Netanyahu to stop his trial and to survive the next election.
Say goodbye to your tax money, it goes to the "Epstein Distraction" war
$1 BILLION per day!

There are few naturalized Canadians or visible minorities among Alberta separatists, and practically zero who fall into both categories. With all the gaslighting against immigrants & contrived complaints about them affecting the Canadian social fabric, it's key to remember the truth is the opposite.
1/ What’s the price of a 1% drop in MMR vaccination rates?
According to a new report by the Common Health Coalition, it’s 17,000+ measles cases, 4,000 hospitalizations, 36 preventable deaths… and a $1.5 billion annual price tag.
War crimes.
Book Group The last Thursday of every month was Book Group, when the books would gather together to discuss Brian. “It’s no fun here any more,” remarked Bleak House, glumly. “Why doesn’t he read us?” whined the Grapes of Wrath. “It makes me so angry!” “I’m sure he only bought me so he can show me off to his friends,” complained Ulysses, in a stream of self-consciousness. “I bet he can’t even remember my name, The Idiot,” muttered a voice from the Russian literature section. “That’s because he avoids you like The Plague,” said another. “C’est vrai!” came a cry. “It is like I do not exist.” “Let’s not give up on him yet.” It was Brave New World. After some Persuasion, they agreed to give him one last chance. “Be quiet!” cried Waiting for Godot with Great Expectations. “Here he comes now!” Brian entered the room, with his phone. He sat down and watched some videos of baby pandas falling over. After an hour or so, he started googling cats dressed as celebrities. On the shelf, the books waited with uncracked spines, their silence speaking volumes. Brian Bilston
In celebration of World Book Day, here’s a poem called ‘Book Group’.
This utter disregard for human suffering is beyond cruel
Profoundly despicable people are wreaking havoc on the world
“City residents living in predominantly Black and Hispanic neighborhoods are three times more likely to be under the watchful eye of police surveillance cameras than those in mostly-white neighborhoods, according to the Rochester Police Accountability Board.”
I'm beginning to wonder whether Gaza was a trial run for AI weaponry.

Grandpa Simpson talking to the kids
“Gather around 🇨🇦 kids, let me tell you a story about the last time a Liberal Prime Minister tried to join 🇺🇸 in a war in Iraq. Grandma & Grandpa w/ our cheap alcohol & optimism boarded a bus to Montréal & protested w/ 150k of our friends & Chrétien did not join that war. Now it’s your turn.” #cdnpoli
