Writing an essay for my workblog about valentines day and transformational love while having the 'Half Horse, Half Man' song in my head, feels both entirely surreal and utterly 2025.

How do you start truly seeing yourself as worthy of love, adoration and happiness? I've struggled with it for years and I'm really trying to be a better me, but I cannot shake the feeling that I'm not actually worthy.

I was able to find multiple colors of my bic permanent metallic markers, so I listened to music and doodled. I can't find the blue pen right now, but that's fine! I also began 3 small projects as gifts!

I was overwhelmed by the options I'd provided myself for alternative art mediums. Frustrated, I went to grab my colored pencils in an attempt to color - and noticed a faint outline of one of my favorite subjects that I'd sketched on the lid of the box I keep them in.

Sometimes you have to do the art that you can do, not the art that you want to do. As a disorganized artist, this is something I need to internalize and learn.

I wanted to begin my next big masterpiece, but couldn't find my paintbrushes.
