I've seen that tactic used many, *many*, -many- times, on various social media platforms, by follow-farming accounts and randos who really do pretend they made the art in question for kudos, to the point of goading their followers to attack *the original artist*. so yeah, I call it when I see it.

the *public* is outraged. career politicians (most of them on the list) and major media outlets (most of them run by people on the list) are trying to minimize and keep it quiet. it's not working real well, but they sure are trying.
