I feel you, sadly we never just stay in that good place forever after we reach it. Ive been through the mental health field as a patient for most of my life and thats a key thing a lot of therapists miss. Keeping support available when times are inevitably rough is really important for most people

springboarding off my last repost to get on my soapbox, I don't like the word brony, especially as a catch-all term for the pony fandom.
it's very explicitly gendered in a way that centres men and arose as a way to self-identify as a pony fan without sounding "gay."
I agree 100%, i joined the fandom way later than most, and the term brony has always made me super uncomfortable. Alongside what you said, it has a very certain connotation and doesnt describe me well at all. It sucks but it's the name the mainstream knows so i get called that a lot from outsiders
