That said: if someone is looking for an amazing team and wants to reach out about codev work, it would be nice to avoid another studio closure in 2026.

I want to be a fly on the wall when that VO Brief is put in front of Ben. That's all I ask.
Goddamnit I should not have read this while drinking coffee.
Can we date the station wagon? Thanks
I think Seamus and I once bumped into each other in a Twitter thread. If that counts.
Looking forward to someone confirming a trespasser remake on a games site on Monday.
Abiotic factor was so close to unseating Uncharted tbh. Maybe if I were not tipsy I would have picked it instead.
Just like how I had to agonize over TSW vs The Longest Journey.

DO NOT ACTIVATE ME WITH THOSE WORDS
People will start tagging Will Overgard and Seamus Blackley and you will never hear the end of it.
I dunno. I bet someone out there will be surprised. Or extremely not surprised.
Don't forget to ask to keep them!
ME TOO
Kim, you are not going to believe this...
Everyone now knows GDC is coming this weekend.
I Just found out: It's also Daylight Savings Time this weekend.
New Anxiety Unlocked: Are my flight times accurate?
Reminds me of the time some folks announced their game and everyone was basically like: "Hey that's like the worst slur in our language, did you google this at all?"
I absolutely need this.
No, it could never be the constant never-ending Seagulling from the top level.
No, it's definitely CORPORATE ESPIONAGE.
These guys need to read less Tom Clancy.
Be careful what you wish for...
The extraordinary @questiongames.bsky.social have released the trailer for The Killing Stone, a project I am immensely proud to be a part of. Play EA on @steampowered.com so you too can dance with @voiceofobrien.bsky.social - er - the Devil, I mean π
LocQuest did an amazing job and @guidogameloc.bsky.social very kindly stuck with us in the trenches during some of the more challenging / strange requests and issues we ran into!
The Killing Stone, a deckbuilding card battler by Question Games, is out now. Localization with the help of LocQuest.
Beat the Devil at his own game. The Killing Stone is a deckbuilding card battler wrapped in a 17th century occult horror narrative. Clean the sins of a cursed family by bargaining against a series of demons - and outwitting the Devil himself. LocQuest localized The Killing Stone into 4 languages: German, Spanish (LatAm), French, and Chinese (Simplified).
Two quotes. One from Michael Kelly, COO: βTranslating our 17th century occult horror which is very particular about using period references and context would be impossible without professional human translators, who not only took time to research and understand the intention, but also took care to keep the musicality of the prose. The team at LocQuest were up to the task of preserving the little details that matter to great storytelling.β Another from J. Thomas, Lead Writer & VO Director: ββI'm lighting a candle for the hyper-committed, thoughtful translators at LocQuest.β
The names and roles of all the localization managers, translators, and LQA specialists involved in localizing the game.

Localization was a feat unto itself: masses of words and four tongues traversing four phases. π‘οΈ

When we first got the brief on this project, I was absolutely terrified. The prospect of having to edit a novel's worth of intricate 17th century prose was daunting, but our incredible translators managed to pull it off. Shoutout to Violaine, Marie, Thomas and FΓ©lix for their work!
Lol oh no you folks are great. There are some very weird idiosyncrasies of working with the loc dashboard in unreal.
Reminder for folks going to GDC. If you get your COVID Vaccine now, you will be at the height of your immunity during the event.
It's the little wag she makes when she sees me flinch that lets me know this is a new game she is playing and I am losing.
Huskies are loud, sure.
But no one told me that the Husky would watch my expressions for any sign of weakness when making loud shriek screams, and then use those sounds more often like some kind of self learning acoustic weapon.
No further code will be happening tonight.
'Old Gods of Appalachia' is pretty decent.
Good luck! Rooting for you folks!
Companies don't make games: People do.
If you've got a little indie company you love, a little group of people who make things you adore, find ways to support them, because they are far more ephemeral than you might wish them to be.
@dphrygian.com has worked on an XCOM and has a lot of AI Experience!
In my few experiments with an RTS AI, it was just a very expansive utility scoring AI for high level strategies, that tasked smaller squad AI's to handle low level strategy.
This was a fun project. We never have time to do the whimsical weird stuff, but the dream lives on.
DAVID FROM TWITTER IS BACK, BABY!
