All 4K Renders are from the downloadable .blend file linked above. All are #EVEE renders.
Wetness really pops from reflections so adding a background would help in that regard, scale is mostly percieved so adding something known like a human or a coke can can help establish a scenes scale.
Sorry for the delayed reply, its a pretty sophisticated shader that uses the 2d texture and turns it in to volumetric clouds, allowing for a much more realistic look since the shadows really pop etc.

One of my space scenes from 2004, the image is two decades old now and was among my early attempts at space, nebula and textures were made with #Photoshop with the planets rendered in #3DSMax.

This has lots of errors due to me still learning to work with blenders render settings at the time, however this test helped me dial in those settings, and i was able to use a better version of this for a wallpaper scene.

Thanks, that would need to be based on particles which i have yet to learn to do in blender, so will try it for sure in the future for sure. Im guessing the same shader would likely work though.
