They do! People arrive early to be close to the stage with singers and performers. There’s fireworks and confetti, and lots of free sponsored goods. For 2010 it was Nivea hats and lip balm…

Often, I scroll Twitter and start reading recommended tweets by mistake. I have noticed these tweets make me upset, or angry. They make me want to reply.

The algorithm is working! It’s a shame, but it’s how most people use SNS: reacting to posts that upset them. I hate it and try to avoid.
