Iβve lost so many dream cats in dream schools πΏ
It's been almost 2.5 years and I'm still seeing comms saying "we'll announce this on X (formerly Twitter)." π Between that and a federal fight over fonts, sometimes you just gotta laugh
An important summer update
Right??? π
I forgot how thoroughly this show could destroy me over the course of an hour. My gosh, episode 2 #TLOU
Thank you! Really couldβve sworn I already had things private, but either I misremember or the setting changed when I got a new phone. Locked down now
Iβm under no delusion that Iβm going to stop the runaway train that is generative AI, but please *please* at least be transparent.
Read a different post a week ago that was all about bringing humanity back into interfaces. It was filled with beautiful illustrations that I was sad to learn were AI-generated, a fact which was _only_ findable in the authorβs responses on social media.
Just came across a blog post about AI which starts with a disclaimer that the author used Grammarly to help review the writing of the piece, then claimed that nothing in the post was βgenerated by AI through prompts.β Sorry kind sir, but based on your hero image, I beg to disagree.
If youβre going to use AI-generated images, the very least you could do is acknowledge that they are AI-generated.
Sometimes the lack of of efficiency is the point.
Alt text: A tweet from Christopher F. Rufo (@realchrisrufo) posted at 5:00 PM on February 25, 2025. The tweet states that Tulsi Gabbard is preparing a memo directing all intelligence agencies to identify employees who participated in the NSAβs "obscene, pornographic, and sexually explicit" chatrooms. The memo also calls for terminating their employment and revoking their security clearances, with a deadline set for Friday. The tweet has 254.7K views, 397 replies, 3K retweets, 12K likes, and 335 bookmarks.
This is a full purge of every single LGBTQ employee at the NSA. Rufo is falsely mischaracterizing a LGBTQ employee resource group as a "sex chat" to create pretext to fire every single member in it.
This is a playbook they will run to purge the entire federal government.
Attending virtually and I had to drop partway through your talk, but I thought you touched on some really interesting stuff at the start! Iβm excited to watch the recording once itβs up. Thanks for putting this together!
Sounds like the same dark magic that affects the time between telling myself Iβll get out of bed and the moment I make it to the bathroom
Happy Public Domain Day!

Ooo!
Welp, the millennium can now rent a car. Happy New Year!
But anyway, now that Iβm back, who should I follow?
Me, Nov 2023: I join Bluesky, feeling tired of the social internet but optimistic for a fresh start.
Me, Dec 2024, once I remember that it exists and return to a heated debate over content moderation policies: π₯² π«
#Drupal #NEDCamp is this weekend! nedcamp.org Oomph is presenting on a number of topics including migrations, higher ed business strategy, and ongoing UX exercises post launch.
Just virtually. Couldnβt get the funds to go in person this year, but maybe someday π€
Yeah I finally logged into the app for the first time in *months* hoping for some tea and am not finding much π
Are you there in person? Curious how the live crowd reacted to that. The online chat had opinions
Yeahh thought that might be it π
Eep why do you say so?
