I'm in the middle of a lifequake right now, let's see if and how I get through it. Having grown up overly sheltered, I fear that I lack resilience.. or simply the desire to fight, when I'm going to die anyway. And becoming old and fragile/senile in a collapsing ecosystem- not a nice outlook.

Thanks so much for your kind words! It always makes me feel a bit better to come across the few like-minded people (or maybe there are more, but they prefer to hide?).
Life’s a bit upside down for me right now, so I’m only managing the basics, otherwise I’d love to post more often.

Is this really so difficult to grasp?

Especially from late afternoon all the way until the sun is well up the next day. That’s when many animals are the most active.
In other words: “Slow down. People live around here.” And yes, they deserve the same consideration as people.
