The main promise of tariffs was to restore manufacturing employment. That is a Trump failure where all consumers are paying the price in higher costs for everything.

I was there in 1966! Probably was pretty new? One of my teachers had these buttons with this weird pattern, and I found out it was a peace sign. He also taught us about the amazing Native American cultures in California. Great teacher.
