One of these days I just have to make a high-resolution document that has her tattoos in them so I don't have to redraw them every damn time, lmao.

New sketch sneak-peek up on Pay Treon!
lmao
...and while I'm totally fine placing blame on the studio execs and what they're willing to greenlight being a factor, creative teams sure seem to be going out of their way to make some of the most generic shit in the world. Rant over.
Take GOAT. Are the designs appealing? Sure. I expect a multi-million dollar animation to look professionally made.
But it's Zootopia meets Space Jam with a hackneyed through-line of "believe in yourself". I get that animation is a lot of work, but the ideas themselves are so blatantly uncreative.
God, he's such a cockroach. Given not only his terrible track record of vile behavior, but his terrible track record in terms of profitable films, you'd think Hollywood would be done with him.
Ah, nepotism.
Like, yeah, most characters in these big animation projects are appealing because they're designed to be as appealing as possible, so as to be merchandisable. But are they really in service to the medium they're for? Do they expand upon the idea that animation isn't just for children? Not really.
We need more unhinged passion projects and less IP-driven cynicism!
I love character design as an interest, as an art-form, but the amount of animation where the only aspects that remain memorable or 'notable' are in the character designs... I can't really care about the stories they're in or make the case of "why is this animated?"
Getting tired of how big-budget animation seems to be an excuse for character design more than anything else-- that the films don't really explore the medium's strengths to be technically experimental or something stylistically interesting or unique.
More stuff like MAD GOD, please.
It is! π
My OC Summer hanging up laundry on the balcony (with a laundry basket on the ground), wearing only socks. The large sheet of cloth she's hanging up covers her front side, but the bright natural light behind her highlights a silhouette of her body
A cozy afternoon doing laundry, while her roommate's out.
Alexis the Gorgon has her breasts cupped from behind by her Cyclops girlfriend, Polly.
"...Hands are full."
Alexis and Polly again-- high-resolution available to all patrons!
Had the goofy idea of a Rokurokubi that works at a dispensary.
Necro is bald and has a goth girlfriend-- makes ya think!
Yep-- famously perished in a car crash with cartoonist Stan Drake, as a passenger, iirc. Drake survived the accident.
Thanks so much! Though my coloring style tends toward a flatter, less rendered look, I try to add depth where I can!
I'll DM you!

A pinup illustration of a woman wearing a knit cap, cardigan and socks in a cabin setting-- in the background, a winter storm rages behind the window.
A night in from the cold. βοΈ
You know, liberals don't have to use AI shit too-- Bondi is plenty bad on her own without resorting to this hackneyed slop.
Another tease of my current pinup can be seen for my free members and the public! Paid tiers give you more to see!

Alexis the Gorgon in three different poses
Alexis the Gorgon stands wearing nothing but a robe, holding the hand of a man who has turned to stone.
Some older Alexis pieces from a few years back!
Y'know-- I can kinda see it Slasher at a cabin, something like that!
Sketch/Sneak-peek of my next pinup illustration is up on P a y treon! I will be posting the finished one here, but all paid tiers get early access to it in-progress!
