Don't know how true it was but I recently found out they cancel good shows because actors and crew demand (and rightly so) a pay increase based on the success and amount of series the show gets, so they cancel the good shows to save money and then a few years later it gets a "revival"
I'm surprised that anyone would expect privacy in any kind of situation like this, it's pretty well known that discord dms, chats and servers are not encrypted
the real reason you feel like reality is a simulation is because we now primarily experience the wider world through algorithmically curated media and false narratives
the internet puts layers of manipulated abstraction between reality and perception - that's the simulation
and it's controlling us

Maybe that's a good thing, I don't see why they need to come out with a dozen versions of new phones every year with barely a difference between models and the price keeps ballooning, heck Samsung hasn't changed the cameras since S22, make them last longer and keep the price stable
