Interesting. Probably won’t work in serverless?

One of the biggest challenge is to make explanations simple enough for people who are just picking up TypeScript/HTML/CSS and for people who don’t have English as their first language. Great job on the docs and i18n team for making Astro DX great
It’s a great initiative with @valibot.dev and @arktype.io onboard too!
Is it a SPA within Astro?
RSC can be built statically
Async state manager? Nah I would rather create my own unmaintainable custom hook for data fetching that bugs out during race conditions and cannot do any caching /s
This is a promise though, there is nothing wrong with setting state in a promise or event listener. I am against setting state directly inside of a useEffect.
Working with config file formats:
JSON > TOML >YAML > XML
I don’t know why do people still repeat this over and over like a parrot without verifying. Google has been crawling SPAs since 2015 without any issues. Most issues arise from bad developers not using proper meta tags and HTML elements etc.
i’m learning that the key with android is to change the workflow from working on an entire feature (“make it work”, “make it right”, “make it fast”) to working on a small subset of the implementation. make a tiny necessary slice of it work/right/fast, *then* do this for the next slice, etc.
Can’t wait for Rolldown and OXC to be a part of Vite
Hello linter 🚨🚨🚨
Discord communities pretty much killed server communities, though it is just doesn’t feel the same
Hmm personally I never had a huge issue with sync across 5 different devices and 4 different browsers for the past 7 years. If Apple copied more features over like SSH I might consider migrating. Right now the Passwords app is just a backup for me.
The browser extension should be synced to your desktop app and not log out on its own
Too often, “bad” UI is a result of the constraints of working with the data design given.
It’s a breeze honestly, no difficulties at all
Isn’t this way more expensive than doing it the normal way
If you know JS/TS then modern React is straightforward to pick up.
You should try out iconify! They have the entirety of Lucide icons and more. You are not locked in to any particular icon sets.
iconify.design
Well Chrome was using WebKit until they forked it out and made Blink

“But tailwind class names look ugly compared to my beautifully crafted and unmaintainable css file that no other developers on the team wanna touch!”

@tailwindcss.com and other similar libraries like @unocss.dev has made it so easy to maintain components and reduce tech debt.
React.dev profile is invalid on Bluesky
Seems like @react.dev is now @handle.invalid
Congrats!
@hono.dev is on Bluesky!
Personally corepack enable is still my go to solution when working with projects using Yarn or pnpm. I do think it will be nice for Node to come with the 3 package managers (npm/pnpm/yarn) by default but I understand the difficulties for the maintainers to make it work
Time to stop serving fonts with heavy files
