For today it was love. And I fell in love with Tunisian crochet at @dyemadyarns.bsky.social Suncatcher so I am doing it again with Peacocking.

-Solidarity! A thematically appropriate, true red. This yarn was originally created to pair along a past Picket Twine, a rotating colored yarn from which proceeds we dedicate money to strike funds. -Spelling Your State’s Name With Your Arms: an orange red that some might call… scarlet. 🙆🏻‍♀️🤷🏼‍♂️🙋🏾🙆🏼‍♂️ -Ruby: a red that leans slightly pinker than Solidarity, from our Gemstone collection -Garnet: a warm, dark red tonal, also from our Gemstone collection -Nain Rouge: a variegated red with black and gold, inspired by the “red dwarf” from Detroit folklore -Fuck Anti-Vaxxers: a slightly cooler, more solid version of Garnet. Perhaps a perfect deoxygenated blood color? -Bloody Butcher Corn: a warm medium red inspired by the heirloom variety of dent corn!

We’ve gotten a few questions about our reds, and we’ve got quite a few! If you’re still looking for red yarn for your hats, here are our options!

This weekend, Dye Mad Yarns & Craft Raccoon will joining small businesses across Columbus to raise funds for families impacted by ICE. 10% of all in-store purchases at both shops on Saturday & Sunday will be passed along to the community mutual aid fund.
