Whatta game by Mikayla Blakes for Vanderbilt women, and needed just about every bit of it as what seemed like an easy win went white-knuckle. All good in the end, though.
How cool is it to be relevant? Watching highlight shows, obsessively refreshing for Bracketology updates, trash talking with friends and relations whose teams are *always* relevant. As a Top 25 team, results/schedule easy to find. Life is good!

Being in the stands at historic Hinkle Fieldhouse to see Vandy women's basketball beat Butler might have been the highlight of the 2023 sports year for me. Now it's time for Butler to visit Memorial Gym. Watching on TV this time and hoping for same result.
