Like yeah it's hilarious to make fun of how incredibly detached and dumb many investors are but I can already smell the amount of layoffs and studio closures this absolute idiocy is gonna result in. Almost all new tech seems to be designed to better exploit ppl in "both lives" and make things worse for everyone except the ones who control it. To make it easier for them to kill, lie and steal with total impunity while we put money in their pockets.

"Don't be online" is obvs not a practical solution with how much life is lived on the internet today. Existing just becomes exhausting to the point of numbness while being expected to function at highest capacity to keep a job. Secure income to throw at subscriptions to make real life more bearable.
