I have no issues with those that believe, assuming they follow the teachings.

I thought we were talking about the moral superiority of religion. I don't know anyone that claims that states are a bastion of morality. Yet again you attempt to change the conversational paradigm because you have an unwinable position.

Religion != Morality.

I'm not assuming anything. The facts of religious persecution are undeniable from a historical perspective. Could more have died another way? That's a straw man's argument because people DID die.

So are you saying the MILLIONS of people that have died die to religious persecution were served better by someone's religious beliefs vs the conscious of being kind to others?
