Coercive control to be put on par with other types of domestic abuse in England and Wales Police and probation services will be legally required to share with one another information that suggests offenders are risk to others

This week those serving a 12 month+ sentence for controlling or coercive behaviour came under multi-agency public protection arrangements. The police, probation and other agencies are now legally required to share info about offenders who are a risk to others.
