I crashed last minute at my friend’s friends’ place that night and I’m so grateful for them. Took a megabus back to dc next morning just in time for my first Wednesday class

Sometimes I miss having the energy to thrive in that sort of chaos. Living in big cities in US certainly enabled it

Man I can’t believe it’s been 13 years but… I was super into Autre Ne Veut’s then-new album “Anxiety”. Living in dc area i was hoping he’d stop by the dmv but the closest show scheduled was in Philly. So I took my Tuesday classes that morning, took a megabus up to Philly and saw a heck of a show

if i could make my voice sound like exactly someone else's i think it would be frylock from aqua teen hunger force

I do enjoy it though since, well, I’m Korean. I feel like I’m using different brain to process/enjoy k pop than, let’s say, when I’m listening to caribou

There are exceptions of course. But there are many times where I can’t help but feel that most of what I hear out there are products of “the machine” instead of people. I don’t know the truth behind all of it so I can’t definitely say I’m right about it, but it’s just a suspicion

I got feelings about k pop that is way too complicated to elaborate at this moment. It would be a hell of a show. The performers are talented and have undergone years of training while making tons of sacrifices. But for the most part, it does feel as it lacks individual/personal artistic ingenuity

my super bowl summary:
