Das sich noch nicht vorstellen können ist noch teil des herauswachsens aus der behüteten weltsicht der zeit nach dem zweiten weltkrieg und der wende 1989. Geht - je nach krisendruck - schneller oder langsamer vorüber. Wait for it.
Trotzdem problematisch sie hier zu versuchen einzureihen. Die legende ihrer erfindung ist mehr gelungene selbstvermarktung als wissenschaftlicher leistung zu verdanken, im gegensatz zu den anderen hier im thread genannten wissenschtlerinnen.

Years ago I would have been baffled this even needs saying. Now I‘m, yeah, whatever. Not because it doesn‘t matter. But because this ignorance has become their method.
Ich wäre vorsichtiger meine Vorstellungen von „Amtspersonen“ für irgendwelche anderen Länder anzunehmen, in denen es den Begriff so nicht einmal gibt und dann darauf basierend irgendetwas empörungsgetriebenes herumzufordern.
Wen meint der Author mit „wir“ und von welchem „Office“ soll eine Stellungnahme kommen? Beides wird völlig offen gelassen.
Ich würde meine empörung nachkalibrieren, nachdem ich recherchiert have wie viele frauen an dem projekt und den character designs mitgearbeitet haben.

Well, there is no plan C. All failing systems have to rebuild and mend what they have, if their people want to go to liberal democracy (again).
Deep seated distrust in fellow people to do the right thing unless you implement a minutely detailed prescription jungle around them defining limits, rules and means, so complex, that no edge case is uncovered so that no responsibility remains with the actual person in play.

That‘s not how it in meant to work.
You build dependable, robust and value aligned, impartial institutions that enforce these. And then submit everyone, including yourself to them and defend their independence.

oh, sure. There is this thing to just copy what works and iterate from there, though. It is not that hard to do. Unless you have to solve the problem of actually aligning it with particular interests in your classe politique for it to happen, instead of having it ground down by NIMBYs

Does it? The UK business had no problem integrating continental Europes vocational educated Polish plumbers and electricians into it‘s business twenty years ago.
