Exhausted by the backward slide. We fought for a better society, only for billionaires and authoritarians to treat our progress like an obstacle. They’ve had their turn and they’re failing. A world run by the marginalized is the only future that makes sense.

I was asked today what currently brings me joy. I came up empty. Between the state of the world & the reality of my daily grind, there’s nothing left. For the first time in my life, I hate my job. It’s hard to find "hope" when you’re trading your soul for a paycheck in a role that feels like a cage.

There’s a specific kind of loneliness in being surrounded by people but knowing you don't, and maybe won't, ever really "click" with them. My heart is with my own people. Holding out for Amber is the only thing keeping me anchored right now, but God, it’s a heavy anchor.

Driving back home in a snowstorm just made me miss home a lot more. In South Africa, for the most part, employers care for their employees. In the US not so much. Glad I alive. If my current employer sees this, FUCK YOU!

Just take power away from the colonizer, and the world will be a better place!

I think you may be underestimating the resolve of Empaths. What you see as weakness is really enormous strength. The more you try to crush those you perceive as less than you the more empowered we become. We are fierce defenders of humanity. We have limits you really shouldn’t push.
