For those who don't know she was corrupted by Nidhogg during the Dragonsong Wars. After the war ended she was aimless and became one with her grief.

But now she can be happy! With Nidhogg gone, his influence released its grasp on her and now she can start over! (at least that's my headcannon LOL)
