Tori Amos news from http://Undented.com, plus random warblings from @violetxoxox.bsky.social and @woj.bsky.social and sometimes...CAKE! We are not Tori. Tori is @toriamos.bsky.social though she seems to have given up on Bluesky.

One option that is available to you right now is to listen to Tori Amos's "Hey Jupiter," the Dakota version.
Noticed that "Stronger Together" was getting regular airplay on BBC Radio 2 and, sure enough, it's been added to their playlist this week! Cool! www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/a...
Album cover for Tori and the Muses depicting an illustration of a young, red-haired girl in a red dress on top of a piano.
It's a S'Magic Day! "The Music of Tori and the Muses," the companion album to Tori's children's book, "Tori and the Muses," was unexpectedly released one year ago today! It may not have won a GRAMMY from the Academy but it won the GRAMMY in our hearts!
Oh yeah, tickets for the Wolf Trap show in Virginia went on sale today about 30 minutes ago! Doh! www.wolftrap.org/show/26filen...

A red-haired woman playing a keyboard in a studio, with a piano at her back and members of a radio orchestra behind them.
From Radio 2's Instagram Story...
Yes, it was "Beast of Burden," as @boscotron.bsky.social pointed out. Tip of the hat!
The songs only will be rebroadcast tonight at 8:45 PM London time on Radio 2. Video will be on iPlayer (UK-only) around 6:00 PM tonight. And some of that should also end up on YouTube as well.
The archive of the complete session, including the chat, is up on BBC Sounds now for you UK people. And yes, the people with VPNs. ;-) www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m...
Was half-distracted by work so missed her saying that...but sounds right! Will check again once the archive is up...
And that's a wrap! Gotta say, that cover was really nice!
And now the cover: Bob Dylan's "The Times They Are A-Changin'."
A question from a listener! about what Tori's "full circle" moment is...and she responded by describing how her young great-neice has gone from banging on a piano the last time Tori saw her to do playing notes and how that affected her.
More chatting about having a lengthy career since YKTR tanked, GRAMMY nominations, working on songs with her daughter Tash (who sings on "Stronger Together"), and driving the recording team nuts with last-minute additions to the new album.
(It'll come to me eventually once the coffee kicks in...)
And now we are on to "Stronger Together."
When Tori was on Tracks of My Years last year, one of the songs she picked was The Rolling Stones' "Sympathy for the Devil," and she said, at the time, she'd play it for him sometime. Well, she didn't do that now but she did, off the cuff, riff on another Stones tune which my sleepy brain can't ID.
Okay the BBC Concert Orchestra handled that very nicely!
After chatting about the BΓΆsendorfer (first time someone brought their own grand piano to Maida Vale studios) and her keyboard, a bit now they are on to discussing Cornflake Girl and her friendship with Karen Binns.
First track: "Cornflake Girl".
Good morning! Good day! Good evening!
T minus 7 minues!
Got all that? Us neither! Catch you tomorrow for this broadcast!
And finally, video of the songs should go up on Radio 2's YouTube channel at some point tomorrow as well, though not as quickly. www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...
