The collective punishment of Cuba for daring to be free continues. And more countries are being deprived of Cuba's impressive medical services in the process.

Barnes and Noble owed us so much money for years. Every month we'd have to pester them, and they'd say they'd try again, give it a month. Repeat for years.
I really have to wonder about these people. If they really think their mind works like a LLM then yes, it draws one to wonder if all people are truly conscious. Because no, that's not how my mind works at all.
It takes many different forms, but empires/nations that survive crises like this are those that eliminate or forcibly subjugate that group dragging everything down.
e.g. Meiji Restoration Japan and Mohammad Ali of Egypt sent the samurai and mamluks to be slaughtered.
The US shows no such resolve.
It isn't a mystery or special if you look at the world through a historical materialist lens. The interests of (a segment of) the ruling class conflict with the interests of the rest. In pursuing their narrow, short term interests they are ripping apart the empire.
Many versions of this in history.
They'll never stop unless forced to. They love treating elections like a horse race too much.
And if we want to get real bold and leftist, we can spare people a lot of tax burden with public ownership of some major industries. Some countries fund substantive state spending this way, without burdening the people.
But it would mean keeping conservatives from privatizing it all. Again.
And once taxes are lowered, it becomes political suicide to raise them again. They're crippling the provinces ability to handle the issues we have.
Oh fuck the US.
I hope your entire navy hits the bottom of the sea before then.
The other day I saw a tiktok from someone who said their wife died by suicide but they said she self exited and I just cannot. We gotta fix this shit. Fix these fucking censorious apps. I cannot hear people describe immeasurable pain and loss using these terms.
They've been endlessly crowing about how bad the provinces finances are since getting elected. But sure yeah, tax cuts. Why not?

This War Will Destabilize The Entire Mideast Region And Set Off A Global Shockwave Of Anti-Americanism vs. No It Wonβt
As soon as a lesser power takes on a great power as their backer in a war, suddenly the war is out of their hands. They don't decide when -- or even if -- it ends. Inevitable negotiations are no longer in their hands, the greater powers will decide if they pay concessions to their aggressor, etc..
Just picked up a dark romance and had to put it down because there was FIVE uses of laugh on one page and I searched laugh and there are 380 laughs in a 280 page book and that is just simply too much laughing. That's on average 1.3 laughs per page. I didn't even search for giggles or chuckles.
Hell yes
We only just watched it for the first time last year and I was furious that I didn't know about it sooner. It's basically one of my top films now.
The Christian evangelists who believe in ushering the end times with a war in the Middle East are absolutely a death cult. It's so deranged it's sometimes hard to believe, but they are.
SEND US THE GODDAMN CHINESE CARRRRRRRRRS
The scene was of a World War II battleship - - none operational in the entire world now - - and an early World War II rocket propelled jet.
Even with their fanatical, erotic obsession with war, they understand nothing about it.
My friend in China shared a joke:
Which is the greatest country in the world?
Germany.
Because it brought Marx to China, Lenin to Russia, and Trump's grandfather to the USA.
Saw a clip of Jon Stewart falsely stating Iran is attacking "everyone" unprovoked. And lemme say, the level of shock after living through the Iraq war period is...
Nonexistent. He's a liberal through and through. And American liberal figures always back empire in the end.
Even if Iran gets an atomic weapon we can't be sure our side won't behave ludicrously. It'd be too humiliating for them to admit defeat.
Yeah the years ahead are going to be grim. In a series of stories I've been writing the past decade, I projected a sort of unified West trying to reassert its imperial dominance on an increasingly bleak, fractured world that they keep raining death upon.
I hope they find a way to convert a US carrier into a submarine.
Talking to a Chinese friend and he thought we were protected from surging gas prices because we're a big oil producing nation.
So I had to explain to him that the oil is all in the hands of capitalists, and they don't give a shit whether we live or die, they certainly don't cut us a break on prices
The Twitter algorithm is meant to piss everyone off generally but threads for you page is designed to piss me myself personally off. Tone policing authors, people embarrassed by sex scenes, people being rude to authors, endless book drama. No thank you.
The Indian subcontinent is projected to be so hot as to be unlivable by the end of the century. They have made enemies of the significant powers around them. Modi has fanned the flames of ethnic/religious division internally. And banked all their hope on replacing China in the western markets.
Grim
Nation of barbaric warmongering imperialists.
