that’s going to be a problem; enforcement relies on people at some point in the process obeying the ruling. Also, Trump can pardon anyone he wants from federal punishment, it might be up to states to bring suits. After that though, I don’t know who actually enforces any punishment.

It’s nice, with the world feeling so upside-down lately, to see something kind of normal.

Good analogy; there's probably some things that aren't strictly necessary, but let's not turn off half the government to figure out it out.

My photo shows the base of a Roman mosaic cast glass cup. Made in the 1st century AD by fusing canes of blue and opaque white glass into a disc and then sagging the disc over a mould. To me, the pattern of the mosaic resembles whispy white cloud trails in a blue sky. The cup was recovered from Pompeii and is now on display at the National Archaeological Museum in Naples.

For a bright start to the week here’s a 2,000 year old Roman mosaic glass cup (base view).

The mosaic pattern looks like whispy white clouds in a beautiful blue sky! ☁️ 💙
