Big props to everyone trading traffic jams for bike lanes.

NYC DOT average daily cycling rates over the city’s four East River Bridges, from 1980 to 2024. The chart shows four consecutive years of increased cycling ridership and a 17x increase since 1980, from 1,635 riders to 28,108.
