I started a medication that in theory, if it works, could return my heart to a normal rate. I’m still taking beta blockers. I don’t know if this is a concern because no one is following this. Not the dr who prescribed it, not my cardiologist, not my GP. Just me and my gc girlies against the world.

Where do we go for acute issues that are caused by our chronic illnesses? The ER doesn’t manage our issues. Well neither do our doctors. So where do we go. What do we do? We sit at home and hope it’s not fatal.

I would love @susanholtnb.bsky.social and the minister of health to weigh in on this.

Covid is no laughing matter when it continues to hurt so many | Letters Letters: Dr Elke Hausmann and Sue Hewison respond to Tim Dowling’s column about his sons testing positive

'The scale of the problem that Covid is posing for individuals and society appears to be on a par with climate change: too big to tackle, so we look away. Or make light of it'.

May be not. I just get the impression Trump doesn’t have much if any interest in doing day to day governing. I think he wanted the immunity and why he said he’d let RFK run wild on anything, just leave Trump the liquid gold. Just a gut feeling I guess. Just doesn’t feel good.

Absolutely horrifying that RFK jr is going to have the power he has. So bad.

According to an inside source, Trump has picked Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to be the next secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services.

This will be horrible for public health. Kennedy will try to restrict vaccine access, spread misinformation, and weaken food and drug safety standards.

This sucks. Covid, H5N1, it’s all gonna run wild. To the cheers of anti vax and anti mask leaders. Republicans will control all 3 branches of gov in the USA (looking that way). I can’t find hope right now. As the US goes.. the world tend to follow. Tonight is devastating.
