Understandings of old age & the role of the old in society vary widely across time & cultures. This event launches a new initiative to enable comparisons & discussions between scholars of pre-modern cultures in Europe & China.

I found one of the most crucial & revelatory texts for BAD LANGUAGE research by browsing a physical shelf in an academic library thanks to @ics.bsky.social. It was a niche methodology & I fundamentally disagreed with its findings so no algorithm cd have recommended it.
