I'm going to attend an anime con today.
Guess what 🙃
If I had seen the tweet before I could have helped! I'm kind of an expert in indexed colors 🤣
Yuki is 7 years old today 🥰
I just found a YouTube channel that's like NileRed but for biology instead of chemistry and I'm absolutely in love.
Oh no, it managed to make an MMl to Furnace converter too 😅 I'm quite impressed, this isn't an easy problem to solve.
Well well well well. Virtual Boy arrangements incoming?
I've been really trying resist chewing on my nails the past few days. It's a terrible, nasty habitat that's hard to curb, but it's working, I think. It has been a loooong time since I haven't had infected hangnails, which is surely healthy.
I'm sure I could write something like this if I put my mind to it. But now I have a program that works and no incentive to actually do it myself.
I like to program. But I also like to have a simple little script that just works for this purpose.
So yeah, I'm conflicted.
I both love and hate that this worked better than any of my previous attempts.
I only vaguely understand what the program is doing conceptually. I don't know Python, so the code isn't easy for me to read and debug. It's a black box, exactly the kind of thing we should be avoiding.
Some of you might remember my years-long quest to create a program that can quantize manga images into few colors, thus allowing for extreme compressions (upwards of 80%).
I decided to try out Claude to basically program this in Python... and well, what can I say, it just works really well 🤷♂️
I only slept around 7 hours today and I feel extremely unmotivated to do pretty much anything, which means that it's probably gonna be one of those fun migraines days later on🫠
I know. That's the joke. They are all wrong tho.
share your art and nationality!
Sorry, I don't need any more beta readers for it.
Sorry, I don't need any more beta readers for it.
Only because Pokémon XD is too old and people back then had bad opinions. But I guess with the re-release we'll see new perspectives on it.
Surely.
I do this all the time with my favorite chiptune music.
18k for the draft, but after editing it's gonna go over the minimum 20k for the contest.
I wrote it all in just a week! An average of 2500 words per day, 1350 words per hour. I think it's a solid story, though I'm a bit afraid it's not that psychological... But we'll see what my beta readers say.
I've been writing a new project that I totally forgot to announce here.
And in fact, I'm finished with it! It's Project Hercules, and it's a psychological horror for the Honeyfeed contest. It's only a short novella, 17k words for the first draft and surely hitting 20k when I'm done editing it.
Woke up with a pretty bad migraine around 6 a.m. Fortunately my usual SOS pill resolved it after dozing off for a couple more hours, and I feel mostly fine now... but I'm just very cold for some reason.
The best one.
Look, there are cookies there. I'm sure she'll be thrilled nevertheless. All kids love cookies!
My #1 advice to every wannabe writer is to start small scale. But boy does literally no one do this 😅
Yeah, I go through this too sometimes🫂Not the hormones part though, but definitely the migraines.
2026 is here! And it's a time to make big moves.
I'm relaunching my Patreon! There will be lots of new content, including 2 new unreleased light novels! (My best work yet) More information coming soon!
Also can you spot something in the Patreon banner?

I remember one time I was playing Snipperclips with my ex, and I started singing the main leitmotiff aftet playing the game a couple of times, and she looked at me like "how did you get that".
Kinda interesting how my visual imagination/memory/dreams are very weak (I have mild aphantasia) but my auditory memory is actually fantastic. I can playback songs in my head, I can pretty easily "sing" any song from my usual playlists, and I can remember a song after only hearing a couple of times.
What do you mean, the first pages are super important to set up the story and characters 😭
I had to do a double take because I'm sure I've read a doujin with this EXACT name.
Now that FRLG is on Switch, this is probably the best time to bring up an *old* remix I made of Four & Five Island on the PC-Engine. Imagine the GBA had a similar soundchip 🤤
I really want to arrange more music here but the MML programs for it SUCK.
