Oh what a surprise- no doubt if it ever happened the proceeds would go into Trumpβs offshore accounts

i just switched on the watch the last segment, and France scored. Come on Scotland!!
wow!!! Go Scotland!
Interesting listening to Any Answers-- so far more or less 100% support for the government's position on the Iran war re defensive support only. The right wing media and parties are very misaligned.
I believe its the press and right wing parties who are opposing, Listening to Any Answers- almost unanimous support from callers. There's a complete misalignment between (most of) the press and the public
Just listened to you on "Any Questions".. Clear, lucid and impressive.!
This makes me even more convinced that Starmer's position is correct!
So the greens have recruited a sex pest?
Thank you George- I had no idea about Churchill's intervention in Iran!
Well said, @iandunt.bsky.social
Your regular reminder that the UK is in fact a high trust society and anyone who implies it isnβt is either selling you a pup or has bought one.
How OPERATION EPSTEIN FURY is going so far:

That was a 5am guffaw!
Russia now have their own manufacturing capabilities for Shahed drones, so not supplied by Iran any more (or not the main source?)
So, in launching a huge bombing campaign on Iran they apparently didn't plan for:
- Who takes over;
- Interceptor shortages from sustained drone retaliation;
- How to defend US bases in the region;
- Threats to ships in the Strait of Hormuz; and
- How to evacuate Americans with airspace closed.
... "Does Trump have an end game in all out war?";
"Iran's supreme leader killed- is the middle East in all out war?"
"What's next for Iran?"
"Where are we going? Societal collapse- the modern Age" "Trump strikes Iran: Are we at war?"
.. if we are into "appealing" headers.. what about political podcasts having questions in their titles? Not quite so bad today, but we do have
"What next for Iran?";
"How can you still vote labour";
EMQs: Will the AI bubble burst?";
Is the Westminster lobby a victim of group think?"
Thank you for these updates and analysis.. very useful to get informed commentary in this age of miinformation and spin.
hopefully there are no flights out....
Starmerβs response to yesterday feels like the end of his leadership
Thereβs no way can compare Greens to Reform and expect to win back the voters that have left you
I should have written that differently. In our news its just Israel so far.
Did Israel attack first?
π¨ BREAKING: Multiple explosions reported in Tehran after Israel launched what its Defense Minister describes as a βpreemptive attack.β
uh oh.. Guess we were expecting something. www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/cn...

Tom Kerridge: "Immigration is constantly used by political parties for masking years and years of infrastructure to health, housing, employment, education.
"It is not the fault of immigration, it is the fault of poor spending, it is the fault of poor money management."
Bizarre- most of Hannah's acceptance speech was straight out of what I would have considered a labour playbook. I cannot comprehend why the strategy of attack is being used rather than the strategy of working with parties who share your values, in some sort of practical centre/left coalition.
This is terrible from Starmer. Just absolute trash. And any normal voter looking at the new MP and then reading this description will think him mad.
Quite a dismal and dismaying response. Divisive politics criticising everyone, including progressive voters you might win back. I despair of No 10. Sorry, @lizzicollinge.bsky.social
I now have no idea whether its the Heath generator or a real headline :-)π
Oopps..missed a letter.. try again:
