Part of my walk to work
I downloaded this comic and read it just recently and the cover story is one of the most pointless comic stories ever created. In fact the whole thing was quite rubbish iirc.
I love this tree. Itβs at The Vyne, near Basingstoke.
But Γ©l is such a cool label!
Hooray for comic shops.
Just saw this in The Guardian; so itβs getting mainstream coverage.

Gosh! Is Boss!
Super stuff. Best team in comics for me.
Mingus was a genius. Youβll get there.
Flicks through photos;; βwhatβs so weird aboutβ¦ ohβ¦ waitβ¦β
Such a weird story. The dog was dead as well? Sounds like maybe some kind of environmental hazard, like carbon monoxide poisoning? Sad loss though.
He truly was the coolest.
Current reading. Dragman by Steven Appleby.

That is a lovely book, and some of my fave Kirby artwork.
Iβve got the two on the left hand side. Theyβre quite ridiculous but fun.
Also stolen and used as the cover for Doomed World by Lionel Fanthorpe.
I always found it really weird to see British artists from 2000AD on the covers of big name US comics. A bit like they were sneaking in and being a little disruptive.
Red Nails is still one of my favourite comics.
Iβve only got a couple of issues of L&R and this is one of them.
I had this. Had a big impact on my 16 year old self.
Iβm getting edgy Richard Scarry vibes from this. I love it.
