the only thing that could be said is that you, like hundreds of millions of people, have it installed. that's it.

signal does not store anything, everything is on device. they do not keep logs of any communications, who you talk to, or where you connected from. they also obscure who sends any message at all.

it is, by far, the least tracable form of communication. signal wouldn't have data to give any entity

phone numbers are unique identifiers that you do actually have more control over than email, and leaves less of a trace. not using an identifier at all can extremely lead to abuse, and user names and passwords are more prone to users bunging up security.

i don't think shilling is the right word here. signal *is* the gold standard for encryption and the point of the app is not to save everything, it's to communicate securely.
