I look at #Commodore64 demo "The Hat" by Fairlight and Genesis Project, specifically the part with the "14 balloon sprites" in a row and its "hires" scrolling border message.

The Commodore 64 came out 43 years ago. Recently, fans purchased the IP and resurrected the company. Brand new C64 "ultimate"s (they do cool stuff) are rolling off the assembly lines. A bunch of 50-year-olds are reliving their favorite childhood Christmas this year. :)
