In my experience there is a growing tendency for drivers to blatantly ignore or seemingly not even notice zebra and light-controlled crossings or any instruction or visual clue such as signs restricting access at school times. Zebra crossings are not the ‘safe’ space they were in 1951!

Bruntsfield Primary School today at 08:55 when all cars are meant to be restricted. A daily fail of all three of your priorities. These children are let down every single day despite the heroic efforts of the headteacher.
