Birding this week along Lake Erie, south of Detroit in Monroe County, and once again, Lake Erie is magical for winter waterfowl. A real pleasure to bird here.

Biggest improvement we had to get fireflies back at our home was to "leave the leaves." Once I stopped raking, they came back.

Also noteworthy that this was early enough in the history of family computers that we didn't have purpose-built furniture for it. This computer sat on our kitchen table for years.

Yes actually! If you google transferring music from spotify to apple music, it's a few step process... majorly simple. All the albums, artists, playlists, etc. come over! 1-2-3-easy!

Just started reading The Birding Dictionary and am reminded of Ambrose Bierce. I've laughed aloud at the American Robin definition and then stopped to search to learn more about the Anhinga b/c my curiosity was piqued. Small book that's big on fun and learning.
