It felt like Chief’s Leafs vs. Keefe’s Leafs, lmao. How many times did we watch the Buds lose like how the Devils lost?

Stop it. Stop it right now.
Agreed … but rather him than us.
I think it was a side effect of the first 30-35 minutes. They had no time for the entire first period. Every time they had the puck, a Devil was on them almost instantly. When the Devils slowed down, the Leafs kept playing rushed, which ended up working for the Devils … BUT THEY STILL WON HAHA
They won though … that’s like the un-Leafiest thing ever … or is it actually Leafy because it was goofy AF?
Pandemonium.
The best.*
Leafs should get three points for that game. All three for Stolie.
Agreed.
Absolute buffoonery.
Always fun when you look out in the driveway and are like “… I didn’t park there.”
For anyone still being hard on the core four … I get it. They took so much of the pie that there wasn’t any left for a more effective bottom six … but let’s be realistic. They’ve carried us to this record, which is eerily similar to last year. Unless the bottom six takes OFF hugely, we need help.
Unfortunately we’ll never know (except we do and it wasn’t the greatest but yes probably better than Philippe Myers)
Best commentator in hockey.
Absolutely is not a slash ever before that moment.
Okay, I know I’m late to this one but this redeems you for the other one.
I legitimately feel bad for him. He wants it more than like … anyone EVER, but it’s just not working.
Yeeeeep. And off the same ref that’s wife slept with OEL. Couldn’t write it any better.
I’m normally a fan, James … but this is a step too far.
They had their “We definitely 100% don’t favor the Leafs” pants on tonight. Had to have been wearing their helmets backwards to block their vision.
Domi was a lot more injured than we knew about I think. He looked good for the first few games and then fell off a cliff. I’m willing to bet he’s working through more than one issue.
There’s over compensating and then there’s pretending your eyes were melted out with battery acid.
Agreed. I don’t think they played “bad” … they play this exact game tomorrow night vs. Pens, they win by 2+. They just didn’t play to the level needed to beat the team in front of them.
He’s to Bérubé what Kerfoot was to Keefe.
Not the best he’s looked as a Leaf, but better than anyone expected him to in the 7th year of the contract without a shadow of a doubt.
Patches may be back tomorrow, so if it’s my call, Robbie sits unfortunately. If not him, Grebenkin. Love the guy, but he was not effective in any way tonight.
I watch a decent amount of hockey, so I’m not biased towards them … but do the Leafs get some of the worst officiating because they’re not the real NHL?
Agreed, such a better team from last year.
I hope Bérubé grabs him during the timeout and bites his head off like an ogre.
