The only way to properly identify Oscar is his facial features due to the uniqueness in comparison to other mortals. His face stays the same shape and with the same features despite the pattern changes.

I also want to add that he belongs between 1970-1990, his clothing will reflect that but-

His main interest was the music mortals make, which is vastly different to the eldrich symphonies that play. His main love is for songs like The Smiths, When In Rome and The Cure.

Considering his Iris and pupils are split, between them he can also see sound; which is obviously synesthesia!!

The other design with the patterns is his ‘second skin’ when he decides to descend into mortality in order to gain a mortal heart- only reason because he fell in love with the mortal’s culture in comparison to the eldrich beings. He’s the liaison between immortals and mortals
