Do they just leave the trees where they fall. Do they try to organize it by dropping them on top of each other? Here I have been laying down logs and capping it off with brush. Making several layers. Hares and ermine love it

I have never used solar. Most of my cameras are in deep woods.

Spent an extra hour or so enjoying my morning coffee, fed the birds, walked the dogs, and did a few chores. Then my wife took me to lunch in town, where they had an amazing chocolate cake. Then a great afternoon birthday nap. Sometimes getting a little older has benefits

Having worked for a United States Water/Wastewater company that was purchased by Northwest Water in the 1980s, there are a lot of stories that could be told. Constant explanation back to NWW was "because that would be illegal "

Just to be safe, I would never reframe it. and maybe put a little note explaining the theory on the back

They pushed back the launch until just before 10 pm. The house was already asleep as I stood out side on a very cold clear Maine night.

I check mine every few weeks, too. I have several cameras out there with these batteries all winter. And as you know, it has been cold πŸ˜€

I would be more concerned about the doubling up of the steel lolly columns, and the twist and bend on the sump pump pipe at the checkvalve

Many of us using trail cameras spend $$ on batteries. Lithium AA batteries are expensive. Last year @dannyboywildlife.bsky.social tested some rechargeable ones. He recommended XTAR 1.5V 4150mWH rechargeable AA lithium battery. I tried, and they worked great all winter, well below 0˚F. Thanks Danny
