Apparently, an AI model took my illustration without my permission or knowledge, and used it to produce fake protest photos (some of which look super realistic). I didn't realized this until over a week later. This is not okay and I'll be posting more about it soon.

This is also probably fake. Without my knowledge or permission, these AI fake protest photos were trained on my hand-drawn artwork that I posted on Oct 13th: bsky.app/profile/omen...

Yes, the drawing came first. Then an AI model somewhere out there used it to make derivative art and fake protest photos without my knowledge or permission.

This image is mine made by my human hands. I think it's okay to source AI for inspiration to create your own compositions, but derivatives of my art (fake protest pics) are being created by AI models without my knowledge or permission - and that's not so ethical.

TY! I'm fine if ppl want to copy my art onto protest signs. I draw the line (no pun intended) at using it for monetary purposes. I'm now also very against AI being trained on my art for the purpose of producing fake protest photos. I can't tell with this one either, though, & it's disconcerting.
