At work, they’ve named the office renovation group The Pretty Committee, and you know I die from holding in laughter every time it’s said aloud.

I just finished the audio book last summer - I’m obsessed with how awful everyone is yet I rooted for them anyway. I literally only wanted to read it because of the Kate Bush song.

Sweet Lourdes Ciccone, I love some Lisa Lisa! Also, I must say I’m quite skilled at singing both parts of “All Cried Out.”

2024. Gut punches & gratitude. We had to invite joy in. Battles won (my cancer) & lost. Worked so hard, came up short. Celebrated firsts, commemorated lasts. Blooms emerged far from home. The sky turned all the colors. 2025? Reach, & touch, & leap, & love, & shine like inextinguishable beacons.

What am I thankful for? That this movie exists to save my sanity!

Why did I ever consider Thanksgiving my favorite holiday? So much work, family dysfunction, bland white people food, and leftovers for 3 days. I hate leftovers. Oh and this year due to others’ BS we went “dry.” I barely drink but ended up spiking my punch with gin after I washed hundreds of dishes.
