I think film/tv ppl need to understand that adapting a classical or fiction isn't the same as adapting a romantasy phenom like ACOTAR - you need to do a literal adaptation otherwise you risk the wrath of some of the most insane fans in the world.

Listening to SJM on #CallHerDaddy defend her creative control on any potential TV/Movie Adaptation and I LOVE it.
She's not going to let any film execs bully her into making something that's not ACOTAR. She's not interested in anybody else's take or version of this story.
