Best Friends had a few prescient moments that have stood the test of time, but one of the more underrated ones was the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 video where they go online and see 2 people playing and Woolie correctly calls out, "The only people playing are other youtubers trying to get content."

There's stand out songs. Like I still think Bede and Marnie's themes are pretty good. Everything else ranges from non-offensive to like the actual worst shit I've ever heard. Bonus points for Wyndon Stadium's lobby theme making me actively try to get away from it because it makes my autism mad.

I forgot to mention at any point also that Sword and Shield's OST is unfathomably bad. Everything is mixed like hell and 90% of it sounds like its trying to win kudos for making me think of better games I actually had fun playing. There are-- to be so honest-- FAR too many five second loops.

I genuinely do not think I have ever been so talked down to before in a pokemon game.

This went unhelped by every NPC basically getting on one knee to ask you if you remembered what the Darkest Day was. As if anything else has ever been talked about in this stupid fucking unplot. As if I have not been told about it every other gym badge by Sonia for the entire game.

And then Rose goes "Sorry guys, Apocalypse." to interrupt the thing you interrupted the plot for and I could feel myself becoming the fucking joker.

And then when you finally get to fuck with Macro-cosmos you're literally just raiding the tower to fetch Leon for fucking _Dinner_. And then the scant momentum you got from that happening at all is interrupted by the plot basically going "Wasn't that exciting? :) We can continue tomorrow!" UUUUUGH

Meanwhile all the actual events are handled by Leon off fucking screen! And anytime something seems like it might happen: Sonia and Leon crouch at you and say "Don't worry kiddo, we adults will handle it :)" and shove you off to the next nothingburger gym. Even if I was a child, I'd feel insulted.

Instead your participation with the actual plot is limited to Sonia taking you on a guided tour every other gym, and going "Ooh what do you think this could mean?" as if the mystery is remotely complicated and not completely spelled out to you.

Reflecting on it, I simply am in awe of how much you're not allowed to do Anything in Swsh's "MSQ". Just B-line the Gyms, that's all they let you do. They didn't even let me beat the fucking boss, Zacian and Zamazenta got to do that instead! I didn't even get to tell them to use the damn moves.

Nevermind guys post game is Piers hours so I'm having fun
