Please do not call the police when an ICE raid is occurring. It is highly unlikely that they will do anything to protect those being targeted, and much more likely that they will escalate the situation or allow it to continue. Their work is entrenched in systemic racism and oppression.
As it has been, and so it will be. LGBTQ+ folks will help our own because the God Emperor's at SCOTUS sure won't.
It's just unfortunate that the NYTimes can't help but suck the toes of evil at every possible opportunity.
