I haven't had any need for numbing cream. The 9 mm needles are fine for me, but I wouldn't want longer ones. I wouldn't want to take a chance on it going in far enough to hit muscle

You're so right about the temps! When I first started, I would get SO COLD even from room temp infusion. It's better now and I don't get as exhausted after infusion anymore, but yeah, I dress warm on infusion day

You get to decide where. Usually it's where you're fleshy. My belly is big and smooshy but my thighs are stringy toothpicks, so it's belly for me.
If you're smooshier in the thighs, that's probably where you'll go.

Yeah, we're fine here. We're about 5 hours north of the Rio Grande Valley, so we got a nice soaking, but nothing bad like they did.
Also wear something warm, cuz the first few times, you'll probably be cold anyway. And if you DO have leaks, don't worry. They wash right out. They're sticky, but they don't stain
