Yeah, it's a infinity loop. Yesterday, I was at a public pool and couldn't bring my phone. I had a moment sitting in a jacuzzi nearly crying, because - well, it was an insane relief to be present and not have my phone nearby. I suddenly realised the level of my phone addiction.

I've just deleted the apps on my phone... well except for BlueSky. I'll still have access on my laptop but my mental health is going for a nosedive currently and the constant attention I'm giving social media and the news isn't helping.

As someone who grew up in a country very much affected by WWII as well....yeah...this!
We still test air raid signals and government issues preparedness flyers. I grew up on stories about the war. In school. From my grandparents. From the old Jew who visited my school to tell his tale...fun times.
