Here's part of an email sent out by Liberty U School of Law to students wanting to interview with the Trump administration for summer jobs.
Apparently, our new anti-DEI pro-meritocracy warriors feel loyalty to Trump is more important than grades.

Sorry, not interested, but this is pretty funny.

I'm very sad to report that so far, the Melania movie has only sold one ticket in England for its premiere at Vue cinema's flagship London location.
I can't imagine why people aren't rushing to see a documentary about her incredibly important activities, such as shopping and spa and gym visitsπ
This is so pathetic (on both sides). Machado unfortunately has massively tarnished her legacy. As to Trump, I don't think anything can tarnish his legacy because it's already in the toilet.

This bill has no chance, but does prove that Rep. Fine is in the running for the biggest Trump ass-kisser (although there are MANY candidates for the position).

Clown Show -
The gov requested a stay of a magistrate's order requiring it to turh over grand jury materials to Comey because of prosecutorial mistakes. While the judge granted the order (albeit a shorter one than requested by the gov), the gov's motion contained a typo in the HEADING.
In July, Trump said the ballroom construction wouldn't interfere with the current building and that it would be near it but not touching it.
Here is a picture of his view of non-interference taken today.
Of the 9 schools sent Trump's coercive "Compact for Academic Excellence in Higher Education," 7 have rejected it.
Shout out to UPenn, MIT, USC, Brown, Dartmouth, UArizona and UVA.
And boo to Vanderbilt which waffled a bit & U Texas Austin which seems open to it but hasn't responded formally.
Remember this name -Will Scharf.
Heβs the WH staff secretary & head of the Natβl Capital Planning Commission who okayed the demolition going on NOW at the WH saying the board doesnβt have jurisdiction over demolition or site prep work for buildings on fed land.
Itβs awful.οΏΌ
I think you meant WE ARE SO BACKWARDS!!
1. The storm was 5 days ago-so glad you decided to get interested now.
2. The Trump admin cancelled a $20 EPA flood mitigation project for the area in May. It wouldnβt have been completed by now but it might have mitigated the damage.
3. Your cuts to the Weather Service led to inaccurate forecasts.
MIT is the first university to reject signing on to Trumpβs Compact for Academic Excellence, stating βscientific funding should be based on scientific merit alone.β
Letβs hope other universities follow suit.

Huh??
Giuliani spokesman claimed Rudy was flagged down by a domestic violence victim while in NH and "rendered assistance."
But the victim was in the southbound lanes and he was going north. So she flagged down a car going the other way on a major highway? And did he leap over four lanes to help?
Our new acting CDC head at 8:40 below-"In a free market, recipients of life-saving organ transplants would be allowed to compensate their donors." Because there are "plenty of healthy spare kidneys walking around unused."
What could possibly go wrong with that idea?

UGH
Trump criticized US museums for talking about how bad slavery was & not emphasizing "Brightness."
In his outrageous attempts to rewrite history, how will he "brighten up" a museum like the Nat'l Museum of African American History & Culture? Talk about how pretty plantations were?
Kim Davis, the clerk who refused to issue marriage licenses to gay couples, has asked the SC, in a cert petition, to overturn Obergefell, the decision extending marriage rights to same-sex couples.
My prediction - the SC either won't take the case or will not rule on Obergefell.
Here's a statement signed by William Beach, the Commissioner of Labor Statistics under the first Trump administration, criticizing Trump's firing of the current Commissioner.
Trump's next Truth Social Post will probably say Mr. Beach was a failure and a loser.
www.friendsofbls.org/updates/2025...
And of course Trump just fired the head of the Bureau of Labor Statistics because he didnβt like the jobs numbers- pathetic, weak move by a baby who canβt accept the truth.
Part of a quid pro quo? And if so, what else might be next?
Ghislaine Maxwell has been moved from a low security prison to a minimum security prison (the least restrictive category).

OMG
I can't wait to see the actions Trump takes against South Park and his inevitable Truth Social post - this is savage.

Columbia caves (and lets the Trump administration basically take $200 million in already allocated funding away from it).
It didn't go well for the law firms that caved - unclear whether Columbia will regret this.

The SC has just allowed the Trump administration to lay off 1400 employees at the Department of Education by continuing a stay of a lower court order that had barred the administration from carrying out the plan.

Pam Bondi just fired the DOJ's top ethics advisor with no reason given- I wonder why?π€¨
Read his LinkedIn post about his service.
Where the heck is the head of FEMA?? He not only hasn't gone to the site of the flooding in Texas, but he hasn't issued any statements on the awful and tragic disaster.

The lunatic-in chief announces massive tariffs on copper. Since we can't develop new mines or restart old ones quickly, this will raise prices, disrupt supply chains and increase costs for consumers and industries.
A coalition of public health organizations and doctors' groups have sued the Trump administration in a MA district court over its decision not to recommend Covid-19 vaccines for pregnant women and children.

Happy 4th of July from NYC!
President "I am totally against antisemitism" apparently thinks it's fine to use an antisemitic trope like "Shylocks."

It's TACO time again.
Karoline Leavitt said Trumpβs July 8/9 deadlines for restarting tariffs are βnot critical" and could be extended.
Then she said if countries didn't negotiate, Trump could just unilaterally decide on a deal - in other words, he'll just say there's a deal.
