Every time the royals are in the news I’m reminded how many seemingly normal british people genuinely long to be feudal serfs. Why are you riding so hard for these people.

If you have ever spent a cold day on or near the coastal waters of Nova Scotia, you’ll appreciate the motto wreathed in mayflowers: β€œWe bloom amid the snow.”

Oh yeah then definitely you can pack everything in! Travel is so personalβ€”I love to go slow and linger in one spot when I’m back home in NS :) but there’s so much to see and do nearby it makes sense to try if you’re up for the travel!

Digby and PEI definitely doable but factoring in travel I think you’ll want a day for the former and two for the latter. I remember feeling both elated and worn out after the whale watching! Like others say, STJ might be for another trip but where there’s a will there’s a way! Have an amazing time!

FINALLY got to hype up some influencer girlies doing pics in the street. I really thought from tiktok that there’d be more opportunities but today was the day!!

I survived seven Montreal summers so I’m over that sauna life but how idyllic is my brother’s sauna nestled in the forest under fresh snow. Would love to just read a book or watch a movie in there (with enough warmth not to freeze but not so much that I consider murder) 🌫️

HAHAHAHA. Personally a huge fan of the ones that are both extremely long/detailed and yet give absolutely zero description of the image. I think some ppl use them like footnotes? Or like, Instagram captions? Idgi

Lord knows those in glass houses etc but do you ever come across an alt text in the wild that’s just like β€˜my view’.

I don’t know what’s worseβ€”that people add audio to every IG post or the disconnect between the image and music. I just clicked on a picture of pasta and got hit with β€˜this is how you remind me’ by nickelback 🀣🀣🀣🀣

Also I’ve finally made it to the final part of Lonesome Dove and I’m gonna be a wreck when it’s over. I love and hate but mostly love every single one of these messy cowboy bitches.

JosΓ© Pizarro’s Spanish pork and potato recipes Baby back ribs braised till they fall off the bone, then topped with herby crumbs, and a comforting stew of lentils and black pudding cooked in chorizo oil

Making a favorite tonight: JosΓ© Pizarro’s chorizo, lentil, and potato stew. It’s been too long! www.theguardian.com/food/2022/no...

It’s definitely a budget friendly alternative for a medium-to-big red if you’re in the mood for one

Casillero del Diablo is so nostalgic to me! It’s bottom shelf now (€4.99! drinking a glass right now!) but when I started out in the restaurant industry it was in the mid range on wine lists (where the best stuff still always is IMO!!) and honestly deservedly so!!
