One of my goals is to open a practice focused on helping people address and heal from bias, preferably in the group therapy format but that's maybe 3~ years away.

My more immediate goal is to find a practice in the Cook County area that will hire me, invest in my development, and pay me equitably.

I am totally ignorant about aromatherapy but I love the scent of rose essential oil and find it so relaxing. I wonder how scents play a role in creating a safe space.

I get into a poem and just reflect on that to stay present. Really been into June Jordan of late.

One of the ways you can tell that someone is a teacher is when they get excited when they see evidence that people are trying. Teachers hardly ever shame people for showing up half done because it is evidence of ignition and more often than not, if you can get started, you can keep going.

June Jordan is relevant to everything.
