I do. They didn't exist for many, many years prior to 9/11, would not have prevented 9/11, and their success rate at catching explosives is actually dismal (the vast majority of test cases walked right on through scanners with their fake explosives). It's just security theater.

Given their track record before and after this of canceling LGBT media, I think their explanation is corporate bullshit and they canceled it for being too gay.

They blamed a "demographics mismatch" because they wanted a TV show for little kids and Dana made it for people of all ages, so people of all ages watched it. By alleged coincidence, they announced the cancellation two episodes after Hooty's Door.

It's a long-running fan theory that Eda was inspired by Ryoko! It wouldn't be the first anime homage in the series. There are quite a few Evangelion references, and I know some of the plushies from the season 1 intro are from anime I've seen too long ago to remember properly.

Ah, one of the most contentious episodes, and definitely the one that feels the most phoned in by the writers. Definitely a Disney era episode. I think the only one that competes is Really Small Problems for how much of a jerk they made Gus right after his "never leave others behind" speech.
