We got a used 2021 Hyundai Ioniq plug-in hybrid two years ago and love it. Use it almost solely on the battery around town (which goes about 40 miles), plug it into the (regular) outlet outside our garage to recharge, & know we've got the gas option for longer drives. (& it gets 50 mph on the gas.)

It just seems insane that any Dem would describe Mullin as "respected." It promotes a normalcy bias for MAGA that is never reciprocated. No Republican would ever describe Sanders/Warren or even Ossoff/Warnock in such glowing terms, esp. if they were about to fill an antagonistic position.

Every time I read a new Chotiner interview I think of how easy it would be for other journalists to do what he does. Just do your homework, ask follow-up questions and don't move on until you get a response. It also doesn't seem to have cost Chotiner that most precious journalistic resource: access.

I wish some major media outlets would do broad reports on the impact of death threats on our politics, and on who's doing them (MAGA men mostly from what I can tell), and why law enforcement appears to be doing so little about them. They are such a big (submerged) part of our politics now.
